Our Story

Here at By The Dunes we recognise the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the land we design and operate on. We would also like to pay our respects to Elders past and present. We would also like to recognise the continuation of cultural, spiritual and educational practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. 

At By The Dunes, we understand the challenges of taking kids to the beach. The sandy mess, the constant need for shade and sun protection, and the struggle of finding comfortable, practical beachwear for the whole family. That's why we're here to make your beach outings simple, enjoyable, and stylish.

Our journey began with a simple idea - to create beach accessories that cater to the needs of parents and children alike. We started by designing Towel-wear, towels that are more than just towels. They're wearable, comfortable, and eco-friendly, perfect for babies, children, and parents who want to spend more time playing and less time fussing with bulky towels.

But we didn't stop there. We expanded our range to include Beach Shade Tents, providing much-needed shelter from the sun, and Eco-Friendly Beach Toys, so your little ones can play safely in the sand.
